About Tim White

Boy, time does FLY. Born and raised here, I’ve had spent the last 25 years in broadcasting. Beginning full-time work in November of 1987, just a few months after graduating from North High School. In 1996 I graduated from Grand View College with a Business Degree. I began The Morning Show at Lite 104.1 in 1997. It's a pleasure to start each weekday with you.

A little bit about me personally: I live near Des Moines with my wife Michelle and I have four kids to keep me busy. I love to run/jog and try to do 10-15 miles per week and also bike in the summer. I enjoy golf but rarely get to play. I have a pilots license but rarely fly either. We love to vacation in Las Vegas or Southern California and have been to both many times. Closer to home, Okoboji is fantastic. We spent some time there last summer and loved it! Can't wait to return.

Keep up with me on Facebook or Twitter: @timwhitedsm and listen to me on Lite 104.1 weekday mornings from 5 to 10am and Saturday mornings from 6 to 10am.
