The Heartland Youth Choir, founded by Barbara Sletto in 2003, is a civic organization which provides a performance-based program for youth, emphasizing musical literacy and character development. The Heartland Youth Choir provides a unique opportunity for children of all racial, economic, and religious backgrounds. Quality literature from all styles and periods forms the foundation for musical learning.
