The Colfax-Mingo Treble Clef Chorus is comprised mostly of 21 novice singers. We meet daily to sing a variety of music--classical, modern, jazz, rock/pop, folk, etc. The girls come in once a week for a voice lesson to work on individual goals as well. We have had girls audition for All-State Chorus, All-State Jazz Chorus, Opus and attend local honor choirs at UNI, ISU, and Central College along with our sports conference Fine Arts Festival. We just finished our fall musical, High School Musical 2. It was a great success. We also participate in State Large Group and Solo/Ensemble Festival. We have traveled to Washington, D.C., New York City, Chicago, and Florida in recent years to perform.
