Des Moines Park & Recreation Department invites you to enjoy your Saturday morning by participating in a free weekly yoga session at Grays Lake this summer. Maximize your stress relief by practicing yoga next to the water’s edge at the southeast shore. The class will be from 9 – 10 a.m. & will be held every Saturday beginning May 25 through September 28. Classes will not take place if raining. Local volunteer teachers lead each session, which means you’ll have a different yoga experience each week! You are encouraged to bring a mat/towel as well as some water & clothes you can move in. No registration for the class required……..just show up at 9am ready to relax, release & enjoy the experience of Yoga on the shores of beautiful Gray’s Lake.

Snacks are available for purchase and beer, wine and mixed drinks are available for adults 21+ from 7 – 9:30 pm on the patio. Cinema Under the Stars will occur rain or shine! In the event of bad weather, the movie will be moved inside the SCI building.
